</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kim Kardashian</span> regrets posing nude for <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Playboy</span> magazine, insisting the experience left her feeling "<span style="font-style: italic;">uncomfortable</span>".</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">At first, this socialite agreed to did a pictorial in the magazine, but without full nudity. After took the advice from her mother, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Kris Jenner</span>, <a href="http://actressinlingerie.blogspot.com/2009/11/kim-kardashian-perfect-curves.html" style="color: red;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kim Kardashian</span></a> undressed for a special 12-page pictorial in December 2007. Now, the 29-year-old actress wishes she'd never stripped off for <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Playboy</span> boss <span style="font-weight: bold;">Hugh Hefner</span>.<br />
<br />
She tells <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Harper's Bazaar</span> magazine, "I'm sorry I did <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Playboy</span>. I was uncomfortable. My mom said, 'Go for it. They might never ask you again. Our show isn't on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you'll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you're my age.'"<br />
<br />
<span class="fullpost"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kim Kardashian</span> might felt sorry because she already famous right now. The funny thing is, she bared it all one more time recently, for <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Harper Bazaar</span> magazine. I hope her "<span style="font-style: italic;">uncomfortable</span>" feeling won't last long, so she will keep doing this kind of pictorials.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Blind since the age of 1 from a rare form of retinal cancer known as Retinoblastoma, Jeff taught himself to play with an unusual style of laying the guitar across his lap.<br />
<br />
Known as a musical prodigy since his teens, he shared the stage with Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Harrison and B.B. King to mention a few. You can also see Jeff's playing on YouTube and in the 1989 movie "Roadhouse" starring Patrick Swayze.<br />
<br />
His unorthodox technique gave him the advantage of pulling the strings toward him when bending and his fierce string bending and vibrato technique was a trademark of his hard hitting blues/rock sound. In recent years, his music had turned toward jazz (his first love) and that style dominated his past three albums. His first rock album in eight years "Mess of Blues" will be released in the USA on April 22nd.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<br />
Soft spoken, humble, and gentle, Jimmy Wyble, 86, is a rare soul who is so full of kindness and love, he immediately befriends everyone he meets. His self-deprecating humor and his quiet ways are awe-inspiring. Everyone was deeply touched by his presence at downtown Spokane’s favorite jazz gathering place.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i7Gz-ucrkq0/TVzAUISiD7I/AAAAAAAAAiE/HpOZsguUa-A/s1600/Legendary+guitarist+Jimmy+Wyble+graces+Spokane+jazz+scene+with+concert+and+clinic+at+Ella%25E2%2580%2599s.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i7Gz-ucrkq0/TVzAUISiD7I/AAAAAAAAAiE/HpOZsguUa-A/s320/Legendary+guitarist+Jimmy+Wyble+graces+Spokane+jazz+scene+with+concert+and+clinic+at+Ella%25E2%2580%2599s.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Jimmy Wyble, playing at the Jazz Guitar Society of Spokane’s guitar clinic at Ella’s.</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
The beginning of Wyble’s fame comes from his early years with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, the most famous band in western swing, but he was already melding jazz into country as early as 1942 when he was playing with Cameron Hill, the second man in the “twin guitars” of Wills’ group.<br />
<br />
Wills hired Wyble away from KTRH Houston radio bandleader Foreman Phillips, who coined the term “western swing.” Hill and Wyble played twin 1943 Epiphone Emperor guitars with DeArmond pickups bought for $1,100 in Hollywood with money from Wills. Bob Wills wanted the men to play the prettiest guitars so they’d look their best on tour. Wills also bought all the cowboy uniforms that were the group’s signature style.<br />
<br />
Wills’ band caused a sensation in 1944 with an appearance on The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., that is still talked about. Wills had two vocalists and 17 instrumentalists, one of whom was drummer Monte Mountjoy. This was at a time when drums were forbidden on the Opry stage.<br />
<br />
“They made Monte sit behind a thin curtain so he could still see Bob’s direction, but he was obscured from the audience. It certainly made a stir at the Opry,” Wyble said. “I don’t think they were ever the same again.”<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, there are no known recordings of that performance, and no photos have turned up either, which just goes to show how important it is to let the media document performances. They are frequently taken for granted when present but sorely missed when absent.<br />
<br />
By 1947, Wyble was with the Spade Cooley Band and his years as a Texas Playboy were behind him. One of the only recordings with Cooley is an aircheck from 1951. He also played in the Western All Stars through 1949.<br />
<br />
Wyble became a front man himself with the release of “The Jimmy Wyble Quintet” in 1953. His unique combination of accordion, clarinet, guitar, bass, and drums presaged the revival of klezmer that was all the rage in downtown New York City clubs in the 1990s.<br />
<br />
The year 1953 was truly a milestone in Wyble’s career. In addition to his eponymous release, he also recorded with guitarist Barney Kessel’s jazz quartet, and began touring with Red Norvo and Benny Goodman. With Norvo, Wyble also backed Frank Sinatra in ol’ blue eyes’ Australian tour.<br />
<br />
Twenty some years went by while he was busy tearing up tracks in L.A. studios for all the A-list music sensations of the era. He cut vinyl again in 1977 under the name “Jimmy Wyble and the Love Brothers.” He also played in Tony Rizzi’s Five Guitars group during this same time frame. Selection of those tracks were played in Spokane at Ella’s, and Wyble made copies available to the society – one of the many benefits of membership in Spokane’s only organization dedicated to the jazz guitar.<br />
<br />
Jimmy Wyble has also appeared on TV shows such as Flip Wilson, and has played the music behind movies including “The Wild Bunch” and the original “Ocean’s Eleven”.<br />
<br />
He is also the author of “The Art of Two Line Improvisation,” a bible amongst guitarists for its groundbreaking technique of playing solos with two fingers playing independently, an astounding feat that requires tremendous practice, but sets apart any master of the technique from other players.<br />
<br />
Wyble taught guitar to Steve Lukather at 16 when “Luke” was still in high school. Luke has credited him with teaching him positions, notes, scales, and relationships. Luke went on to co-found the band “Toto” and become an international legend in his own right with songs like 1983’s #1 Billboard hit “Africa”.<br />
<br />
Another 16 year old Wyble taught was Howard Alden, on the recommendation of Barney Kessel in 1974. Alden credited Wyble with teaching him the mastery of the fingerboard and how to weave chords together to create a unique style. Wyble stressed finger independence and learning to hear lines to his famous protege.<br />
<br />
In a sense, Wyble was teaching his successor, since just as Wyble followed Tal Farlow as Norvo’s guitarist, so did Alden follow Wyble. Wyble shared a funny story about his time with Norvo in Las Vegas venues.<br />
<br />
“The sound level from all the people in these clubs was always very loud from people drinking and carrying on, and sometimes it would drown out the band,” Wyble said. “Red would tell us to stop playing our instruments, but look like we were playing. In other words, just do your business on your instrument as if you were playing but don’t actually make any sound, and then wait for his cue.<br />
<br />
“We’d do this for sometimes several minutes, and then all of a sudden people would settle down a bit and look over at us, and here we were pretending to play. Red would give the signal and we’d start in playing again for real as if nothing had happened. Then people would go back to their conversations. It was just a sort of game we played with the audience.<br />
<br />
“Sometimes Red would get angry with the audience and play metal on metal to get their attention. The shrill noise of it quieted the house down really quick, and once again, we’d go back to playing normally.”<br />
<br />
Today, he is still playing, and many videos of him are available on YouTube. His etudes are an atmospheric wonder, a kind of ear candy that must be heard to be appreciated. Fortunately, the video sharing site has several to choose from, showing off the same Hofner Verythin JS he played in Spokane.<br />
<br />
Another excellent resource to learn more about Wyble is a biographical interview on his website.<br />
<br />
“Thanks to Tim Nodland and the Jazz Guitar Society of Spokane for being such great hosts,” Wyble recently said about his visit. “I had a great time in Spokane.”<br />
<br />
Podcast:<br />
<br />
I recorded Jimmy Wyble’s concert at Ella’s and with his express permission, I now present the tracks from that session. These etudes are not songs, but rather, are impromptu studies in Jimmy’s unique style of playing chords with two-line independent finger techniques.<br />
<br />
In addition to these fifteen, Jimmy also played “Prelude To A Kiss”, “The Peacocks”, and “Soft Winds”, which are in rotation at The Inland Echo’s jazz radio station. [Editor's note: the jazz station has been discontinued. Apologies for the inconvenience.]<br />
<br />
All of his music was recorded as WAV files in 16-bit 44.1kHz linear PCM quality, engineered, and then bumped down to MP3 player quality for this podcast. Jimmy has made these tracks free to download, but please don’t pass them around. Refer people who would like a copy back to this page, so we can keep track of how many copies are in circulation. Also, if you are a musician who would like to be recorded, please contact me. Thanks, and enjoy the show:<br />

Tones that come from deep inner truths that surface as creatively shaped moments to be shared with the world. His tones were formidable and his artistic presence and influence remain with us over thirty-five years later. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon Lawrence understands tones.</div><div> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Her book, <em> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006056301X?ie=UTF8&tag=modernguitars-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=006056301X">Jimi Hendrix: The Intimate Story of a Betrayed Musical Legend</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=modernguitars-20&l=as2&o=1&a=006056301X" style="border: medium none ! important; margin: 0px ! important;" width="1" /> </em> is a memoir that could have easily been her cash cow after his death. But while others cashed in on their Jimi Hendrix experiences, Sharon remained quiet, protective and reflective. Her new paperback reflects the quiet mourning of a friend coupled with the need to introduce the world to Jimi Hendrix the artist and the man.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">It is not only an intimate journey, but one that runs full throttle with the rock ‘n’ roll circus of the ‘60s and ‘70s. It’s a story of a young man who wrestled with his own demons and the greed and avarice that surrounded him as fame took its heavy toll.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">It has been more than 35 years since the guitarist died in a flat in London. A day wrapped in mystery to some, but one that Lawrence suggests may have been more a fatal gamble, if not purposeful. Today, the name <i>Jimi Hendrix</i> consistently tops “Best Guitarist” lists that credit his monumental influence on guitar playing.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon takes us along the road Jimi traveled from boyhood, riding the chitlin’ circuit, his shows in England, his rise to fame in America, and to the guitarist’s final hours in London. His family life was full of strife and conflict, but also included pockets of enough love to nurture the young boy. This tribute to Hendrix is filled with personal conversations between Jimi and the author in a voice that carries you “there” with them, like when he tells her, “I want to play my guitar forever,” then adds “forever.”</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">It should be made clear that Sharon was not one of Jimi’s many girlfriends, but a friend and confidante in the truest sense of the term. When they met, she was an ambitious and career focused young UPI entertainment journalist. She had a serious job and the many musicians she hung out with recognized and respected her because she had a real grownup job.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">She moved in the same circles of friends as the rock stars of the day, that had her once accepting an invitation from Mick Jagger to join the Rolling Stones on tour as their press liaison. As a journalist, Lawrence needed to keep records and bits and pieces of information about the music world she covered and those in it. They’re part of the stock and trade. Her book is based on notes, recordings, and conversations she had with Jimi, as well as with over 250 others who shared their Jimi Hendrix stories with her.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon’s telling of Jimi’s big break in London and his experiences with the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, The Who captures the moments in all their glory. Beck and Clapton with their mouths wide open watching Hendrix as he unleashes staggering colorful sounds from his Stratocaster while playing “Killing Floor,” “Hey Joe” and “Wild Thing.” She recalls Jimi’s manager, ex-Animal Chas Chandler saying, “Eric actually turned pale, he was so overwhelmed by Jimi’s talent. He could hardly talk.”</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon’s voice throughout the book is not always as tender as when she speaks of her friend. Her protective spirit cuts clean to the bone when she dissects the unscrupulous machinations of some of Jimi’s managers, family and associates and the twisted contract provisions that bled him. For all the millions of dollars Jimi must have earned while alive, she tells us that Jimi died with a paltry $20,000 to his name.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The author’s attention to the details gives her voice authority and fans who read her account of Jimi’s life will seethe in frustration that they couldn’t have been there to help protect him from his business and personal entanglements. And as Lawrence presents later, business intrigue and entanglements that in her opinion continue to exploit as much as build the Hendrix legacy today.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon Lawrence offers us an insightful, poignant, sad and oftentimes exciting account of the life of the legendary rock star. It is a life full of roadblocks, betrayal and abundant promise. She says that Jimi wanted to be remembered honestly and for people to know the real Jimi Hendrix.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Lawrence can rest assured that she has honored Jimi’s interests and talents with her book. Her level of research is formidable and her ability to convey all in an interesting and riveting manner is a tribute to her reporting skills, as much as it is to her levels of compassion and passion.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><em> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006056301X?ie=UTF8&tag=modernguitars-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=006056301X">Jimi Hendrix: The Intimate Story of a Betrayed Musical Legend</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=modernguitars-20&l=as2&o=1&a=006056301X" style="border: medium none ! important; margin: 0px ! important;" width="1" /> </em> is the most definitive book around on Hendrix, as it’s the most up close and personal account of his life written to date. It’s the “go to” Jimi Hendrix life story and a must read for researchers, fans, musicians, and anyone else who wants to meet Jimi Hendrix the man and the musical legend. Read it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharon Lawrence has done us all a favor by offering the world a book that moves us in many ways, one that should have Jimi smiling, and in the end leads us all back to our Hendrix albums or CDs reminding us to move over and “Let Jimi take over.”</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Cape Town singer-songwriter Natalia has just released her new album 'Rules Of The Road', featuring 10 original tracks, which is the second collection of her own songs following 'Long Street Lullabies', her debut album released in 2007.</div><div> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">That same year Natalia won the annual Barleycorn Songwriting Competition with her entry 'The Cigarette Song', and her prize was an extended recording contract with the MyMusicMatrix Studios in District Six. Natalia used her Barleycorn prize of studio time to record and produce this new album which was completed during the second half of 2008. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The MyMusicMatrix Studios in District Six is a recent initiative, established in 2007 under the direction of the well-known and respected SA music personality, Aidan Harper, who was invited to run a multimedia academy at the Azaad Independent Youth Services building in District Six, Cape Town.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Harper established these studios in these school buildings to create an environment where he could begin to educate and train previously disadvantaged students in sound engineering, radio broadcast, and production, in order to help them gain career placement opportunities in the SA music industry. Two of these students, Siyabulela Ngdela and Jason De Jongh, have now successfully completed their first full project which was recording, mixing and mastering Natalia's album over a six month period, under Aidan Harper's guidance.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Natalia is a 22-year-old vocalist and guitarist who has established a strong local following over the past few years in Cape Town. This is due to the many live gigs she has performed over the past seven years, both in Cape Town as well as in Gauteng, acquainting audiences with her own brand of emotive female pop-rock. While 'Long Street Lullabies' was a collection of Natalia's early recordings, 'Rules of the Road' is Natalia's first full length studio album proper. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Joshua Grierson, Natalia's friend and fellow Cape Town musician, came on board to add his characteristic melodic guitar lines and emotive vocals on a few of the tracks. The pair have worked and performed together many times over the past few years (appearing occasionally as the cult duo Signal Hill) and their creative connection can be heard and felt on the duet 'These Flames' and 'Bad Avenue'.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">For this album, Natalia also collaborated with guest musicians Alain Joffe on bass, Kurt Diederiks and Rafi Segerman on drums, Ella Gabriel on piano, Luke Otto on Cello, and David Agranat and Richard Pryor on additional guitars.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The 10 tracks on the album range through a variety of styles and moods and include the highlights 'The Cigarette Song', 'I'm In Love with Somebody Else', 'Wooden Fireplace', 'Pens and Movies' and 'Yes-No Coin'. The song 'Golden Touch' was written for a close friend, Gideon Prodgers, who passed away in 2008 and the album is dedicated to his memory.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Natalia has relocated to London in early 2009 to pursue her musical career abroad and to follow up on a lot of interest she has received for her first album and this new, second offering, from parties in both the UK and Europe.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Natalia's other successful musical side project of the past few years was as the singer in the duo, 'Niskerone and Natalia'. In addition to her solo performances, Natalia began appearing on vocals alongside the high profile Cape Town Drum and Bass DJ Niskerone at various festivals and clubs around Cape Town, culminating in their appearance at the OppiKoppi Festival.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">There are plans for the duo to perform overseas during 2009 with some shows and festivals lined up in Spain during the upcoming European summer festival season.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Physical copies of 'Rules Of The Road' are available at Mabu Vinyl in Cape Town, and online from the Sugar Music online store at <a href="http://www.sugarmusic.co.za/category/artist/natalia" target="_blank" title="Sugar Music">www.sugarmusic.co.za</a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">'Rules Of The Road' can also be bought and downloaded online as mp3 tracks from: <a href="http://www.rhythmrecords.co.za/music/1347//Rules%20Of%20The%20Road" target="_blank" title="Rhythm Online">www.rhythmonline.co.za</a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Cameroonian musician Manu Dibango had filed a lawsuit against both Rihanna and Michael Jackson, claiming the artists have nicked one of his hooks.<br />
<br />
Dibango, 75, points to one of the most famous bits in Jackson's 1983 track, Wanna Be Startin' Something. In that song, the King of Pop ends the chorus with a nonsensical chant, "mama-say mama-sa ma-ma-coo-sa," words that sound awfully close to the Duala chant in Dibango's classic Soul Makossa.<br />
<br />
Jackson had already admitted to borrowing the line, according to the AFP, settling with Dibango out of court. But when Rihanna came calling in 2007, asking to sample Jackson on her song Don't Stop the Music, Jackson agreed – allegedly without contacting the Cameroonian.<br />
<br />
Don't Stop the Music went on to top the European Hot 100.<br />
<br />
Dibango's lawyers have now brought the case before a Parisian court, demanding €500,000 in damages and that Sony BMG, EMI and Warner Music be barred from receiving "mama-say mama-sa"-related income until the matter is resolved.<br />
<br />
French judges will announce on 17 February whether they will hear the case. </div>Phahadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17276594134408651338noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821216555807853053.post-21459937644699961862011-02-17T07:50:00.000+07:002011-02-17T07:50:46.683+07:00Prisa Adinda (Biography & Photo)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bh5g9c-em5g/TVxwNExbyQI/AAAAAAAAAfk/gdtEyZWqVwI/s1600/Prisa+Adinda1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bh5g9c-em5g/TVxwNExbyQI/AAAAAAAAAfk/gdtEyZWqVwI/s1600/Prisa+Adinda1.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Agnes Monica began her career at the age of 6 years as a little singer and also a presenter. In 1999, Agnes was awarded Panasonic Awards as a Children Presenter Most Favorite. On age of 15 year old, Agnes began to plunge into the world of acting by starring in soap operas "Pernikahan Dini". This success made Agnes name in the entertainment industry arena a more calculated. Her success brought her fame not only in her homeland, Indonesia, but also in neighboring Asian country such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, and even in Netherlands in Europe. She is the only singer in Indonesia who has her own dance group called Nezindahood, who always perform with Agnes on stage. In 2009, she began planning to launch her International career, and started taking Mandarin lessons. A result of this was her role in two Taiwanese drama series, "Romance in the White House" with Peter Ho, and "The Hospital" with Jerry Yan.<br />

Meet Erin Willett (Photos)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kGV67l1H41A/TVTrcQVhrDI/AAAAAAAAAck/2IaUZ8sCfgM/s1600/Guitar+Girl1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="186" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kGV67l1H41A/TVTrcQVhrDI/AAAAAAAAAck/2IaUZ8sCfgM/s320/Guitar+Girl1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">Her name is Erin Willett, she's a 21 year Jersey girl majoring in Vascular Technology. Erin's face has actually been included in our 'Sexy Chivers' previously but she anonymously submitted the headless photos of her alter ego, 'Guitar Girl', from a separate email.<br />
When asked if she really plays the guitar naked Erin responded, "I ONLY play my guitar naked. It's the best way." Erin admits, "I'm a huge nerd that can play video games for hours on end and watch the entire LOTR trilogy (extended version only) straight through. I always brake for turtles and squirrels."<br />
Speaking to Erin, I can tell you she's as smart as she is nice. Enjoy...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Kelley Deal</b></span></div><div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Born in 1961, Kelley has played in the Breeders, The Amps and The Kelley Deal 6000 and performed duets with Kris Kristofferson and Supersuckers. She is the twin sister of Kim Deal, the bassist for the Breeders and the Pixies. Kelley was thrown in the deep end without really knowing how to play when she joined the Breeders in 1992 for the Safari EP, getting a crash course in the bands songs from her sister. For those who think it is too late to learn guitar, Kelley was already 30 when she started to play. A high point for the band she says was opening for Nirvana in 1994. Kelley plays a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe and occasionally Fender Strats and Jaguars.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Kelley has had her addictions and convictions, but is a survivor and turned to knitting as a distraction in order to stay sober and sells her knitted bags on her <a href="http://www.kelleydeal.net/">website</a>. She even wrote a book about her knitting designs;<i> Bags That Rock: Knitting on the Road with Kelley Deal.</i></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>2. Orianthi Panagaris </b></span></div><div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b></b></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Born in Adelaide, Australia in 1985, Orianthi (named by her Greek grandmother) is a singer, songwriter and killer guitarist. In fact, Carlos Santana said, “If I was going to pass the baton to someone, she would be my first choice.” Check out the video of her covering Hendrix’s Voodoo Child (Slight Return). She started young, heck she’s still young – her dad handed her a guitar when she was 6 and by 11 she had gone electric. By 14 she was playing in bands and began writing songs the next year, starting her professional career as a musician. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">When she was just 18 she jammed with Carlos Santana during a sound check at a concert in Adelaide in 2003 and was invited to perform on stage with him that night. Inspired by watching her on Youtube videos, the late Michael Jackson asked her to play on his comeback tour after meeting her for rehearsals. She played the solo to 'Beat It' for him and he was sold. She’s also played with Steve Vai and this year she opened for Adam Lambert on the Glam Nation Tour. She’s into 80s style rock and big, long solos, but hey she knows what she wants! She plays Paul Reed Smith guitars. Check out her version of Voodoo Child (Slight Return) on the video below.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ho5cOMpEvRo/TVTnAgT5tbI/AAAAAAAAAbk/LXHDp1caMwU/s1600/Orianthi+Panagaris1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ho5cOMpEvRo/TVTnAgT5tbI/AAAAAAAAAbk/LXHDp1caMwU/s1600/Orianthi+Panagaris1.jpg" /></a></div><br />

<span style="font-size: small;"><b>3. Juliana Hatfield</b></span></div><div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Born in 1967, Juliana has played in alternative rock bands, The Blake Babies, The Juliana Hatfield Three, and Solo and has worked with (and played around with) fellow Bostonian, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads. She was introduced to the LA punk scene by her babysitter and at the same time loved The Police and even Olivia Newton-John. This strange cocktail of affections comes through in her music which has ranged from sweet, melodic pop to hard rock. She is most often found playing a Les Paul Standard or an SG.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tuDD4YfWQQo/TVTnTCr3wZI/AAAAAAAAAbs/7denBu5VkOQ/s1600/Juliana+Hatfield.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tuDD4YfWQQo/TVTnTCr3wZI/AAAAAAAAAbs/7denBu5VkOQ/s1600/Juliana+Hatfield.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>4. Joan Jett </b></span></div><div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Born in 1958, Joan Jett is the archetypal rock chick. American singer, songwriter, and guitarist she is best known for her band, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Her first band was The Runaways in which she played rhythm guitar, sang and wrote or co-wrote most of the songs. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">In 1979, she recorded with Paul Cook and Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols, covering a song by The Arrows called ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’ which became a rock anthem for her as predicted by her manager. The song was re-recorded in 1982 with her new band, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks. A steady streams of songs followed making it into the top 40 and her band enjoyed sell out tours with Queen, The Police, and Aerosmith. Her band released eight albums with ‘Up Your Alley’ going multi-platinum in 1988. Joan has also made film, stage and TV appearances and was executive producer for 'The Runaways', a film that chronicled the bands career. Joan’s chosen ax is a Gibson Les Paul.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">I have always found that Eurasian women have a special appeal and half Japanese, half Hungarian, Miki, plus guitar is very hot. From London and born in 1967, Miki, formed a friendship with Emma Andeson who was to become her future bandmate in ‘The Bugs’. In 1988 she joined the band “Lush’ which produced several albums and toured Australia, North America, UK and Japan. Lush broke up when the drummer killed himself. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">She now works as a magazine editor and says of her days in Lush,<b></b>"I miss the excitement and energy of playing live and the camaraderie of touring – being with the band and crew in a foreign country is like going on holiday with your mates but even more fun because it’s free. I enjoyed being in the band immensely, I’m glad I did it." Miki played a Gibson 335 and a Gibson Firebird.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Miki left behind a loyal fan base that started to campaign for a comeback, to which she comically responded, “I guess it’s flattering that anybody gives a shit. Not sure how enthusiastic the support would be if they realized that bringing back Miki Berenyi would deliver a 40-year-old office employee with graying hair who's still struggling to shift the weight from her last pregnancy."</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Born Septmeber, 1958, Lita was lead guitarist in the Runaways, with Joan Jett. Apparently the band split because Jett and bassist, Vicki Blue wanted to go more glam rock while Ford and drummer West were more into hard rock/metal. When the band split Lita released solo efforts, ‘Out for Blood’ which didn’t make the charts. Her next effort did a little better with the single, ‘Fire in My Heart, making top ten in several countries.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">‘Gotta Let Go’, Ford’s next single was a mainstream success, reaching number one. Trouble with her label cast a shadow over the next four years but in 1988 she re-emerged with Sharon Osbourne to manage her and released a solo album, Lita, which had four commercial hits. Two more albums followed and then Ford went on to happily marry and have a family.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">She began a 2009 tour with a new lineup in the US and Europe and released ‘Wicked Wonderland’ in the same year. Lita uses B.C Rich guitars including a Warlock. She is featured alongside Jett in the Guitar Hero II, X-Box 360 game.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

She wails on a cherry red SG with the neck pickup ripped out in hard rock/psychobilly band, Nashville Pussy. Ruyter plays alongside her husband, Blaine Cartwright and their shows are high energy, gutsy affairs. I noticed that there is a comment left about her on one of their Youtube videos by a guy who claims she helped him avoid getting thrown out of an after party by security because he wasn't on the list. He says, " she held my hand and pushed him out of the way and took me up to VIP with her, and had some cocktails. She is the nicest, most humble women." She was just 16 when she played in the band Sourpuss, scoring a set at Australia’s Summersault Festival where she met and fell for Tim Armstrong from punk rock band, Rancid. Dalle was engaged to Armstrong at 18 and moved to LA where she founded the Distillers. Their debut album was released in 2000 with favorable reviews. Other releases include Sing Sing Death House and Coral Fang, with the entire lineup having changed except for Dalle . After the Distillers broke up she worked with Alain Johannes of Eleven releasing Ghetto Love. Other projects have included singing on Lullabies to Paralyze by Queens of the Stone Ages and her second husband’s ‘Bargain Healers'. Dalle has had seven surnames and takes the name Dalle from the name of her favorite actress, Beatrice Dalle, known for Betty Blue.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Her solo album, <i>Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop </i>was released in 1999 and later released “Baby Guitars” as an EP. More recently she performed in We are the World 25 for Haiti and joined her sister in Pandora’s, “Moms Who Rock”. The family moved to Palo Alto, California, where she met her future bandmates - Brett Anderson in 7th grade, Maya Ford in 5th grade and Torry Castellano in 4th grade. Alison got her first guitar at 12 – a MIM Fender Telecaster, which was replaced later with a Gibson Les Paul. They called themselves The Donnas and started touring straight out of school. Alison also plays in band, Elle Rae, with her sister – the name of the band was formed from their combined names. In 2007 she played lead for Loudlion and joined with Corey Parks of Nashville Pussy, Samantha Maloney of Motley Crue and Hole as well as former Playboy model, ‘Tuesdae’ to form Chelsea Girls who were offered a regular spot at LA club, The Roxy Theatre. Alison plugs straight into a Marshall from her LP, preferring to keep the signal chain as short as possible for a pure tube driven tone.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Apa yang dilakukan bintang seksi ini jadi kredit bagi para wanita AS yang ikut-ikutan melakukan implan ukuran super.</div>Phahadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17276594134408651338noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821216555807853053.post-71135237335081773532011-02-11T10:23:00.000+07:002011-02-11T10:23:46.343+07:00About China’s most sexy R&B singer and model Ayi Jihu<div style="text-align: justify;"><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">In years to come people will look back and see that Ayi Jihu was one of China’s important artists. In the music game timing is everything. Bad timing has seen many great artists not reach their full potential and great timing has seen average artists reach great heights.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yn-6IPjDCE4/TVSrgxACtmI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/TWS_wYZ_Jl0/s1600/Ayi+Jihu-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yn-6IPjDCE4/TVSrgxACtmI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/TWS_wYZ_Jl0/s320/Ayi+Jihu-.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">The timing for Ayi Jihu, China and the world is right now perfect. Born in a tiny village in Sichuan China called Leibo, Ayi Jihu has risen to become one of China’s most talked about artists both in Asia and in the West.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">With China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea producing K-Pop and Canto Pop artists by the bucketful every year and most of them coming from big cities or being mixed, how did a young Sichuanese rural Chinese girl from village not many Chinese heard of rise to the lofty heights of being compared to the likes of Western Icons like Madonna, Shakira and even Missy Elliot in her style of dance, music and mostly in her application of the genre that has proved the most elusive to Asians on a worldwide scale – R&B and Hip Hop? The answer to that question lies in three parts: Beauty, talent and timing. There is a fourth part to this puzzle which we shall mention later.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Ayi Jihu is quite simply an extremely beautiful and sexy woman and this has never hurt an artist trying to succeed. She is also uniquely talented in that she is one of the few ‘<strong>true born</strong>‘ genuine Chinese artists who can sing and dance in a western style naturally, better than most westerners. When Ayi is dancing and singing she does not look (like so many Canto pop artists) like she is trying, she looks like she just is, and even to western eyes and ears there is nothing but awe and pleasure when they watch her. Most importantly the timing is right. China is emerging as the new global power house. It now has millions of well off middle class people and a whole new generation of young women and men with money and opportunity that were never there before. They are hungry for their own international star. Someone who can mix it with the best of the West and still be truly Chinese. Perfect timing for an Ayi Jihu.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Source : http://toptenmostbeautifulmodels.wordpress.com/about/</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">The fourth part of this puzzle is Shlepp Records CEO and Ayi Jihu’s discoverer and producer Eagle E. Someone, somewhere had to spot this talent, see its potential, nurture it and bring it to our attention. Someone had to take the risk of doing so in a way that has not been done before with a Chinese artist and fight against a whole system that is not ready to admit it is time for Ayi Jihu.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Ayi Jihu is Curvy, and Street R&B, most Canto pop artists are very white, skinny and pop R&B. Ayi Jihu’s lyrics and productions are provocative, risk taking, most Chinese artists don’t even go there. Ayi Jihu’s performance and dancing style is raunchy, sexy, street and Urban. Most Chinese artists are gimmicky, copy cat and very pop. Even though the timing for Ayi is now, that does not make it easy.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Testament to how spot on her timing was is the fact that barely halfway through the production of her album with little more than a Myspace page to verify her existence Ayi Jihu was requested to perform at the Sands in Macau (one of the world’s largest Casinos). She was not only requested to perform at the Sands but was one of the first artists asked to perform her own music in her own style in a casino that before only used singers and entertainers who would sing the songs of others the Chinese knew and understood, Karaoke, or review bands. This was the birth of Ayi Jihu to the Chinese public and she has never looked back from there.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Her debut album ‘Try Me’ is now completed and is already doing great business on Itunes in advance of its release in late 2009. She has shot two television shows due for release in 2009. She has performed in front of over 2 million people in China and many thousands worldwide. Her fan base is worldwide and growing all the time and if you Google her name in Chinese the results are staggering. Sought after by Clubs and venues all over the world she is constantly gigging and developing her craft. Ayi Jihu is learning and applying her talent the hard way. She has never been afraid to play the large arena or the small urban clubs in the UK and Europe as well as Hong Kong and China. This girl was born to sing and dance.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">In doing so Ayi Jihu has become not only one of China’ss most talked about rising stars, but Macau’s most famous international artist. She is now hosting and performing at Cubic in Macau. A perfect match as Cubic is Macau’s most prestigious Club and is also an R&B and Hip Hop venue. Yep in a town of Electro, Dance and Pop the best R&B artist and the best R&B club have hooked up to create an alliance that is taking Macau and the region by storm. Cubic is fast becoming known internationally and this is proven by the likes of Fat Man Scoop and Tiga coming to Dj and perform at the club with Ayi Jihu. The word has gone out and people are coming to Cubic from Hong Kong even Singapore to watch Ayi Jihu perform and be a part of a great club with a great atmosphere. At a time when many clubs in Macau are experiencing falling numbers and even closing, Cubic and Ayi continue to go from strength to strength. Everyone it seems is intrigued by Ayi Jihu.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">So what does the future hold for this Chinese diva? If you ask Ayi she will tell you she wants to show the world what Chinese people can really do. She is proud that she is Chinese. She loves RnB and hip hop with a passion and feels her first album is just the beginning of what she calls ‘the Chinese expression of RnB’. As a nation she feels the Chinese need to ‘come out of the closet’ and really express themselves. Her first album is about freedom and although she knows she may experience some censorship and maybe lack of understanding by some of the Chinese community in the beginning she is determined to stick to her guns and do things the true RnB and Hip Hop way. “I am prepared to take the longer route to success and keep things true” she says, “Even though I have had many tempting offers to just become a Canto Pop artist like the others out there, I will stick to what I know and what I believe in”. Ayi Jihu’s fame and hardwork have also turned the eyes of local and international business. She is now sponsored by several non music related business. Proof positive that she is gone above the radar.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">Ayi Jihu is not just about the music and the bling either. She is passionate about her people and is fighting the cause to stop domestic violence in China, something she says she experienced as a child that is still with her every day. She has performed charity gigs for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake and raised thousands and continues to fight for the causes she believes in.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;">As Ayi Jihu continues to grow in fame in Asia she is also growing in fame around the world. Her alliance with Cubic is proving to be fruitful and she intends to continue working with the club as long as they keep the music and the vibe right. The future looks bright for this young, beautiful and talented girl from Leibo China. Ayi Jihu could indeed prove to be one of this decade’s most important and influential Chinese artists. Watch this space.</span></div></div>Phahadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17276594134408651338noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821216555807853053.post-73539655637608799412011-02-11T10:18:00.000+07:002011-02-11T10:18:34.584+07:00Taiwan female singer Fish Leong<div style="text-align: justify;">By : http://www.hotcute.cn/idol/taiwan-strength-of-female-singer-fish-leong-liang.html </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<br />
From 10th January 2011 fans will be able to get involved in helping Dave McPherson's solo project and career through Pledgemusic.com. All Pledgers will receive a digital copy of the album before it is released, hear exclusive material, videos and other rewards. They will also have the chance to obtain collectibles such as handwritten notes, personalized songs, original artwork and more. Dave will also be donating a portion of his pledge to UNICEF. For more information and to pledge support you can visit the project homepage below on Pledgemusic.com.<br />

<br />
On speaking about the announcement Dave said 'Your support for InMe & my solo work has been consistently overwhelming, so I've decided to team up with PledgeMusic to offer you access to a range of unusual and one off treasures that go much further than the usual way artists connect with their fans.'<br />
<br />
During his time writing and performing with InMe, Dave has scored a Number One in the UK Rock Charts when he was just 20, played the Main Stage of festivals such as Leeds/Reading, and toured the world ' sharing stages with Deftones, Serj Tankian, Feeder, Biffy Clyro, Pendulum and many more. Like the aforementioned Tankian, and the likes of former Million Dead frontman Frank Turner, McPherson is now ready to step out on his own properly as his band enter a new phase following their 'Best Of' release.<br />
<br />
Flying solo, however, is nothing new to Dave ' armed with an acoustic guitar and a disciplined hard work ethic he's been touring anywhere and everywhere since 2007 and has played over 700 shows. The difference now is that, as opposed to a collection of self-released EP's that provided snapshots of Dave's songwriting ability, he has recorded his debut album with a sound that is rich and pure, exploding with feeling and honesty. McPherson has lived and breathed music since childhood, drawing influence from artists such as Talk Talk, Loudon Wainwright III, Pink Floyd, Damien Rice, Amos Lee, Counting Crows & countless other vibrant artists. He is now ready to forge an identity of his own outside of the band that he has dedicated himself to over the past few years.<br />
<br />
The album itself sits Dave and his acoustic guitar comfortably at the forefront of a wondrous wall of instrumentation. Recorded by the enigmatic upcoming studio wizard Mike Curtis at CDS Studios, the pair's unique production method adds to the overall honesty of 'The Hardship Diaries'.<br />
<br />
A full headline tour will coincide with the album's release in March 2011 and Dave McPherson's unique voice will continue to be heard by aficionados of melody, true passion and all things euphonic! <br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">Getting some fantastic tattoo ideas is sometimes a problem, so what you need to do is get on all the online tattoo galleries and search for that perfect tattoo that can represent you and make you stand out. Once you have found the tattoo the next step for you is to locate a local professional tattoo parlor with qualified tattoo artists to get your design inked.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6sTROrB1ibE/TVOO72B157I/AAAAAAAAAQQ/4UCt4eP9bvU/s1600/Tattoo02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6sTROrB1ibE/TVOO72B157I/AAAAAAAAAQQ/4UCt4eP9bvU/s320/Tattoo02.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">This decision is the most important one you will ever make on your journey to getting a tattoo. You will need to find the best tattoo artist you can so some research and planning will go a long way. When you find the tattoo artist you need to make sure they follow all the health and safety procedures. A professional tattoo parlor will more than likely be safer, cleaner and more disease free than an amateur one.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9wQ-W_HEjDc/TVOPHNzDL3I/AAAAAAAAAQU/G4PdSFQQDVY/s1600/Tattoo03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9wQ-W_HEjDc/TVOPHNzDL3I/AAAAAAAAAQU/G4PdSFQQDVY/s320/Tattoo03.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">There are tattoo parlors in every single location in the world where tattoos are legal, with some being better than others. You can tell how good a tattoo parlor is, by how much business it gets and how long they have been in business, it is more likely that the bad ones will not be in business for very long.</div><br />
