The World’s Only Female Tribute to Iron Maiden To Perform in Vegas

Tuesday, February 8, 2011

The Iron Maidens, the worlds only female tribute to the  legendary heavy metal band “Iron Maiden” saved the day at BRIXTON/DIVE in Redondo Beach, CA last night.  Original “Iron Maiden” frontman “Paul Di’Anno” and his band “Icarcus Witch” were scheduled to perform at BRIXTON/DIVE that night but were snowed in on the California Grapevine coming from Santa Rosa, Ca and were unable to make it to the venue in time. Rather than let the Di’Anno/Maiden fans leave disappointed the girls quickly rallied and went from spectators to performers in
no time as four of the female band members who happened to be in the audience jumped on stage and delivered a ninety plus minute set of  ”Iron Maiden” classics as a four piece on backline thrown together from BRIXTON/DIVE house gear and the opening band “Ninth Circle’s” equipment. Also lending a hand to help out last night was “Motorhead’s” “Phil Campbell” and original “Anthrax” singer “Neal Turbin” who jammed with The Iron Maidens on some songs and made sure that the crowd left happy. The Iron Maidens in attendance and on stage last
night were, Kirsten Bruce Chickinson Rosenberg, Linda Nikki McBURRain McDonald, Wanda Steph Harris Ortiz and Courtney Adriana Smith Cox.
